Stabilization Module

1. Module collects angular data for 3 axes: Heading ,Pitch, and Roll.

2. Module fits into any Burchfield P/T enclosure.

3. Orientation Resolution 0.1 degrees for heading, pitch, and roll.

4. Position update rate >1 ms at servo controller PID input.

5. Angular data processers inside P/T to save transmission time. No need to send data to host controller. Data is sent directly to motor controller independent of host.

6. Motor response dependent on load and P/T gearing. Typical response is 6HZ with 20 deg amplitude. Max velocity typically 120 deg/sec and depends on the mechanical components of the PT unit.

7. Ideal for stabilizing low frequency movements of towers, land and water vehicles.

8. Angular range 360 degrees for all 3 axis. (PT unit may limit travel)

9. Calibrates to 0 deg with regard to gravity on power up or via host command.

10. Sensor suite compares data from several sources and normalizes to 0 deg gravity reference. The correction is done at sensor processer level and is independent of host.

11. Shock Limit 500g

13. Gyro Velocity range up to 300 deg/second
