Pedestal Twin Tilt

PTU Twin Tilt

The PTU has independent elevation axis. The elevations can be LOCKED together via software commands or left independent. This feature can be changed of the fly. The elevation axis can rotate a full 350 degrees allowing any side to be flipped over to provide a forward and backward view at the same time. (you must invert the video)

Having independent control of the two elevations opens other possibilities on vehicle mounted systems. One camera can be looking upward for obstacles like power lines while the other is viewing the forward path.
